Mandir is the hindu temple where hindu's go to worship. Usually mandirs are devoted to one chosen god or goddess but then other gods/goddesses are allowed in.  At the heart of a mandir they're is always a shrine of the chosen deity. These shrines contain beautiful statues (murtis), pictures , flowers and lights.
